The PWHL announced it postponed a do-or-die Game 5 between the Minnesota Frost and the Montreal Victoire due to player safety concerns due to illness.

“The decision was made following consultation with medical personnel and in accordance with the league’s commitment to the health and wellbeing of players, fans, staff and all those involved in the competition,” the league said in a statement.
Two sources told The Associated Press that the illness is limited to Montreal.
The PWHL also confirmed that the symptoms players are facing are not related to hantavirus.
