The sun will be out in full Tuesday morning, with clear conditions lasting through the afternoon as temperatures climb to the low to mid 60s. Boston and Worcester will reach 63 degrees and Springfield will hit 65 degrees. The Berkshires and Cape Cod & the Islands will be a bit cooler at 58 degrees.
Temperatures will drop to the low 40s overnight as a rain system moves in. Precipitation could begin Wednesday morning, with the National Weather Service projecting a 20% to 40% chance of rain before noon in most areas. Temperatures are expected to reach the low 60s.
Showers will continue Wednesday evening, with increasingly steadier rainfall overnight.

Rain will continue all day Thursday, and the National Weather Service forecast calls for a chance of afternoon thunderstorms across the state.
Precipitation is expected to continue during the day Friday, lessening in intensity until it tapers off in the evening, likely before 8 p.m.
