NORTH ADAMS — A Berkshire County man was charged with murder Monday after he reported to North Adams police that he’d killed a family member at his home, according to the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office.

Upon arrival at 256 Walnut St. shortly before noon, police found one man dead inside the home, the District Attorney’s Office said a statement.
Members of the North Adams Police Department took David Louis Boucher, 48, of 256 Walnut St., into custody.

Police charged him with one count of murder. and he will be arraigned in Northern Berkshire District Court on Tuesday in morning.
